1 CORINTHIANS 10:14-22; PSALM 116; LUKE 6:43-49
“No good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit; for each tree is known by its own fruit.” Jesus connects soundness of heart with good fruit. A tree is known by the fruits it bears. What kind of fruits do you bear? What is your character like? Does it attracts people to Christ or repels them? The fruits we bear are expressions of who we truly are. Therefore, St Paul says we must decide for God, we cannot serve two masters and bear good fruits.
LET US PRAY
Lord God, I pray today to ask for help. Help me to have the actions, words, and wisdom necessary to bear good fruit. May the things I think, the things I say, and the deeds I do show other people the love of Christ. Help me to be a force for good, and an influence on others.
