EPHESIANS 6:10-20; PSALM 144; LUKE 13:31-35
A soldier that is equipped for battle already signals victory. Being equipped is a pathway that leads to success. In our battle against the evil and ills in our society St Paul tells us that Christians need to be equipped. One of the very weapons we need today is the belt of truth. We must proclaim the truth at all times if we want to defeat falsehood in the society and in the Church today. Lies have destroyed this nation and many Christians are guilty. Beloved, we need to change and wear the spiritual armour of God to bring all men under the government of God. In the Gospel Christ wept because Jerusalem rejected both him and his message. Whenever we tell lies we reject Christ and his message. God help us and teach us. Amen!
LET US PRAY
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
