DIVINE CALL AND RESPONSE
Genesis 12:1
“The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you.”
MEDITATION
The Lord spoke to Abram in a very definite way. Imagine being asked to leave your country, leave your family, leave your roots and start a new life at the age of 75. You will not consider such a divine call rather hallucination or one of the old age experiences. However, Abram expressed faith and embarked on the journey. Abram didn’t know where he was going – he just knew who he was going with. This is the fact of any call we do not know where it will lead us to but we are assured that the One who calls will never abandon his own. Again, the same is true for all of us; whether we have a special call or not. We do not know what we happen in the future only God knows. Therefore, like Abram let us obey God in faith and trust. The future may not be clear but with God on our side we shall not fall aside.

6 Intercessory Prayers:
O Lord, remove from me every form of distractions that has blocked my spiritual eyes and ears from visions and divine instructions concerning my life in Jesus name.
Let every alternative present, consciously or unconsciously, in my heart concerning my vocation/ profession be terminated in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, give unto me the spirit of revelation and wisdom in the knowledge of You.
O Lord, open my spiritual eyes to see visions concerning my life and ministry in Jesus name.
O Lord, by your mercy, save me from every wrong decision I have made that is affecting me negatively in Jesus name.
I reject every manipulation of the spirits of confusion, in the name of Jesus.
