DAY ONE
Meditation
Jesus lays down the conditions for discipleship. He makes these conditions known so that no one can claim like Jeremiah that God has seduced him. Jesus is not out to seduce or induce anyone that is why in Luke 9:58 he said to the man who said “I will follow you”, foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the son of man has nowhere to lay his head. Are you ready to follow him? In the next seven days we shall be concerned with discipleship; understanding our call and responding accordingly.

3 Lessons:
The only way to follow Jesus is totally.
Commitment to Christ cannot be based on an emotional, idealistic decision.
Commitment to Christ cannot be a casual, whenever-you-find-the-time matter.

6 Intercessory Prayers:
As I obey the laws and teachings of the Lord, He shall bless me in many ways and set me on high above all nations of the earth in the name of Jesus.
As I make up my mind to follow Jesus; surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell with him forever.
The Lord gives me the land, and makes sure I am successful in everything I do. The Lord commands His blessing upon my life and my harvests shall be so large that my storehouses will be full in the name of Jesus.
Father, in the name of Jesus, as I serve diligently in thy house and kingdom, cause me to flourish like the tree planted by the rivers of water.
Father, in the name of Jesus, cause me to become a manifestation of your wisdom, understanding, might and counsel. Let me become a solution to my generation in the name of Jesus.

Protect the dying against the works of evil spirits and welcome them into Your eternal glory. Have mercy on the whole world and strengthen us to worship and console the Sacred Heart. We adore you, O Precious Blood of mercy. Amen.
