THEME:
CALL TO DISCIPLESHIP
DAY SIX
Matt. 4:19-20
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” At once they left their nets and followed him.”
MEDITATION
Jesus said “follow me” thirteen times in the Gospels. Every disciple must follow his master. Jesus said “follow me”. To follow him means to imitate him. It is a call to discipleship. A disciple is one whom the Lord has called to stay with him, to follow him, and to become a missionary of the Gospel. As disciples, let us stay with him and follow him and witnessing shall be our life style. When we stay with him he revives our souls. If we follow him we shall not wallow. Many Christians are wallowing about because they have not decided to follow Jesus. Many Christians today follow pastors. If we follow Jesus we shall get to heaven but when we follow pastors we go nowhere. IF you follow Jesus you shall be rewarded. God bless you!
