Deuteronomy 6:4-13/ Psalm 18/ Matthew 17:14-20
We must learn to live by faith. Faith does not view things from a carnal perspective but from a spiritual perspective. For lack of faith, the disciple could not heal the epileptic boy in the gospel reading. Then the disciples came privately to Jesus. ‘Why were we unable to cast it out?’ they asked. He answered, ‘Because you have little faith. We too, often ask Jesus “why?” Jesus himself supplies the answer: “because of your little faith”. For little faith many people submit themselves to ungodly ministers; while some are wandering about searching for healing and miracles. Beloved, Jesus has no doubt that if we have enough faith we could move mountains.
