1 Kings 10:1-10; Psalm 37; Mark 7:14-23
Jesus called the crowd again and said to them, “Listen to me, all of you, and understand: there is nothing outside a person that by going in can defile, but the things that come out are what defile.” Beloved, let us examine our interior disposition or inner motivation and what are the things we think about? Differently, in the first reading, the Queen of Sheba heard of Solomon’s wisdom she came to encounter Solomon for herself and she was exceedingly blessed with the level of wisdom Solomon manifested. She praised God for the wonders in Solomon. Her inner motivations were genuine. What are your motivations?
