THE SEVENTH DAY IN THE OCTAVE OF CHRISTMAS (31/12/2022)

Today is the last day of the year 2022. It has been an eventful year with lasting memories. We thank God for his mercies, care, protection and provision. Many forces were on stage but in all God prevailed.

Ps. 124:2-6 says “if the Lord had not been on our side when men attacked us, when their anger flared against us, then they would have swallowed us alive, then the floods would have engulfed us, then the torrent would have overwhelmed us, then the raging waters would have swept us away. But blessed be the Lord, who has not given us as prey to their teeth.”

Therefore, let us praise God for his mighty and victorious deeds. The readings today remind us that we are children of God. As children of God it is our duty and responsibility to mirrow God in all things. Life has no meaning outside God. Find time today to reflect; learn from the past; and look into the future with hope. God bless you!

 Happy weekEND! MonthEND!! and yearEND!!!

LET US PRAY

Father, thank you for strength, health and wealth. Thank you for faith, peace and love. As we go into the Year 2023 help us to remain in you. With you we shall succeed! Give us the grace to always heed your word so that we can fulfill the purpose for which you have created us. Amen.
