This generation is fortunate to have the GSM network, which allows information to travel quickly throughout the globe. GSM has, however, been misused in certain antisocial ways as a socialization tool. For instance, lying, cheating, sexual perversion β all kinds of nudity, lust, and immorality.
Nudity and lust are highly celebrated on social media. Some Content creators that are out of content just take to their bodies to remain on stage. Those who are meant to be admired role models for young brains are instead actively teaching fraudulent games and illegal tactics.
It is our responsibility as parents and educators to help our children escape this abornality that has become the norm. Twerking, for example, is a dance that is sexually suggestive, and I see parents uploading videos of their kids doing it.
TikTok and Reels are their favorite apps for faning and celebrating their immoralities. But what shall it profit a man if he gains all the followers through immorality and suffers the loss of his own soul?
While we continue to preach against this media disaster from the pulpit and even in classrooms, we desire that governments and parents watch out for the morality of the movies and music that youngsters watch and listen to. Let us moderate their use of social media and networks. If we don’t curb this disaster today, then we will suffer the brunt tomorrow.
