Isaiah 11:1–10; Ps. 72; Eph. 2:13-22; Matt. 2:13–15, 19–23
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
As we celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lady, Queen and Patroness of Nigeria, we also mark 64 years of independence. Our journey has been challenging, but as people of faith, we draw strength from God’s Word. Isaiah’s prophecy reminds us of a future filled with promise and restoration, symbolizing hope and rebirth.
We reflect on our nation’s struggles and setbacks, but also its resilience and determination. We must not lose faith or hope. Christianity requires us to be people of faith, hope, and trust. We believe Nigeria can rise again, becoming a beacon of light. We turn to Mary, our Mother and Queen, asking for her intercession, guidance, and protection.
Let us pray for Nigeria’s restoration, our leaders’ wisdom, and our own role as instruments of peace. May Our Lady intercede for us, and Jesus Christ bless our nation. May God grant us peace, unity, and prosperity.
Happy New Month!!!
