Acts 2:14, 22-33; Psalm 16; Matthew 28:8-15
On the day of Pentecost Peter stood up with the Eleven and addressed the crowd in a loud voice. Peter spoke of Christ to the people. This sermon was regarded as the first in Christian history. We too are invited to speak of Christ to the people around us. Peter shared his encounter with the risen Lord. You too can share your spiritual experiences with others. Lastly, in the gospel, Jesus asked that his disciples should meet him up in Galilee. Galilee represents normality; that is, everyday life. You don’t have to visit any river to meet Jesus. We are going to meet Jesus in the activities of our daily life. Therefore, let us approach our daily realities with a sense of love and humility.
LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, we thank you for all we have received. Make us your true witnesses to our world. Amen.
