HOMILY FOR MONDAY, WITHIN THE OCTAVE OF EASTER

Acts 2:14, 22-33; Psalm 15; Matthew 28:8-15

Today’s readings testify to the Resurrection of Christ. St Peter, along with his fellow disciples, bore witness to Christ’s resurrection. In the gospel, Jesus sent the women to tell the disciples to meet Him in Galilee. Galilee represents normality and everyday life. Thus, we shall find Christ in the normality of life. On the field, in the street, at home etc. Let us bear witness to him. As Christians witness is our business.

An Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
