THEME:
SPIRITUAL GROWTH
DAY TWO
Romans 3:11
“There is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God”
Meditation
Unresponsive heart: This kind of heart can also be regarded as the indifferent or uncaring heart. The seed that fell on the path refers to the word of God on an uncaring or indifferent heart. The heart is indifferent or unresponsive. Such a person is usually indifferent on matters of spiritual and physical developments. Christians must learn to care and express sincere concern. If we must grow we must not indifferent to the gospel and its related matters. We must not be indifferent to the needs of our neighbuors and friends. Often times people worship and pray ceaselessly but with poor human relationship. The seed comes into their heart but they remain indifferent towards it.
PRAYERS
1 Hail Mary 21 times and Thank you Jesus 21 times.
2 Bible Study: 1 Corinthians 13
Anyone who wants to grow spiritually must Love God and neighbour.
4 Silence (5 to 10 minutes) (write down your own lessons; learn to hear from God and write down whatever God says to you)
5 The Litany to the Precious Blood of Jesus (as given on the first day)
6 Intercessory Prayers:
Father, in the name of Jesus, let the zeal of your kingdom fall upon me heavily and make me a tool for your kingdom expansion. Amen
Father, cause the light of your work in my life to shine to all that your name alone will be glorified in Jesus name. Amen
Father, create in me and my family a new and clean heart, a caring and loving heart, give us an obedient heart that will obey your word in Jesus name. Amen
Father, in the name of Jesus, and by the blood of the everlasting covenant, I decree the destruction of everything pulling me away from you. Amen
Almighty God, please help me to study the bible always. Enable me with grace to stay consistent with your word so that I can gain knowledge and wisdom needed to live a successful life on earth, and also to be counted worthy to enter your eternal kingdom in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Memory verses: Mark 12:30-31
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] There is no commandment greater than these.”
