Love Much, Live New
1 Timothy 4:12-16; Psalm 110; Luke 7:36-50
“Her many sins are forgiven because she loved much” (Luke 7:47). The woman of ill-repute kissed Jesus’ feet, showing regret for her past and a total break from old lovers. Every true penitent regrets and rejects his or her past sin to pick up a new way of life. True repentance is not lip service, it’s a radical rejection of sin and a passionate embrace of Christ.
St. Paul urges Timothy to “be an example in speech and conduct” (1 Tim 4:12). When love for God is real, it transforms our words, actions, and lifestyle. Love much, reject sin, and let your life preach louder than your lips.
Forgiveness is not only an escape from guilt but a doorway into new living. When you repent sincerely, God rewrites your story, giving you a testimony that draws others to Christ.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, give me true repentance, deep love, and a life that reflects Your grace. May my actions preach louder than my words. Amen.
