The Archangels
DANIEL 7:9-10, 13-14 | PSALM 138 | JOHN 1:47-51
Today heaven unveils its warriors: Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. They are not myths but real messengers, defenders, and healers in God’s plan. The question is: Do we still recognize their power in our lives?
MICHAEL – “WHO IS LIKE GOD?”: Michael is the Prince of Heaven’s Army. His name—“Who is like God?”—is a battle cry. He fought for God’s glory against Lucifer. Are we ready to fight for God’s name in our families, society, and culture, or have we gone silent?
GABRIEL – “GOD’S STRENGTH”: Gabriel is the angel of divine strength and truth. He announced Christ’s birth and strengthened Jesus in Gethsemane. In a world of fake news and false prophets, can you still hear God’s true voice, or are you tuned out?
RAPHAEL – “GOD HAS HEALED” Raphael is the angel of healing and mercy. He healed Tobias’ blindness and guided him safely. How many wounds stay unhealed because we resist God’s healing touch?
Those who trusted God’s messengers found victory, healing, and salvation. Have you replaced God’s angels with superstition, horoscopes, or social media prophets?
PRAYER
O God, who dispose in marvelous order ministries both angelic and human, graciously grant that our life on earth may be defended by those who watch over us as they minister perpetually to you in heaven. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
